When I 1st visited Sweden at the tender age of 9, I wholly fell in enjoy with my Swedish friends’ summer months cottage. It was all the things you’d associate with the Swedish summer: a picturesque red and white cottage surrounded by woodland, lakes and the sweet scent of roses. Oh, and possibly the odd mosquito! When I stumbled across Alex and Erika’s place property on the internet yesterday, it took me straight back again to that summer time! Affectionately recognized as
Gubbetorp, Alex and Erika’s croft is positioned in the stunning Östergötland countryside and has been lovingly restored a single place at a time. The pair share a passion for antiques, vintage finds and up cycling all of which incorporate to the charm of the place.
