Grime new music legend Kano—also identified as Major Boy actor Kane Robinson—will star in Daniel Kaluuya’s forthcoming Netflix flick, The Kitchen area.
Fellow Brit Kaluuya has co-written the drama together with Joe Murtagh, although Michael Fassbender is also on the group as an executive producer. The show is set in London, in the 12 months 2044, and will stick to the tale of Izi (performed by Robinson) and 12-calendar year-outdated Benji (Jedaiah Bannerman) as they “battle to endure in a procedure that is stacked towards them”.
A synopsis for the drama reads: “The Kitchen is established in London, 2044, a future the place the gap between prosperous and very poor has been stretched to its limitations. All kinds of social housing have been eradicated and London’s operating courses have been pressured to are living in temporary accommodation on the outskirts of the town. The “dystopian drama” is now in creation and will air on Netflix globally in 2023.
